Zulema is diligent in all she does and it shows! She passed the PE exam and earned her Professional Engineering license.

The process is as follows:

Once applicants have completed all of the registration requirements – graduation from an approved engineering curriculum, obtained a passing score on the NCEES FE examination, obtained a passing score on the NCEES PE examination, and have completed the requisite qualifying engineering experience – applicants may apply for PE registration in Ohio. Once an applicant’s application is approved, the Board will issue a professional engineer registration number.

Here’s what Zulema had to say about the process:

“I took the PE Electrical and Computer: Power exam. It tested my competency on a variety of topics including general power engineering, circuits, rotating machines and electrical power devices, power system analysis, and protection. The study process was grueling. I made a study schedule and stuck to it, saying no to anything that would interfere. I studied for 8 – 12 hours each Saturday and Sunday and a few hours during the week. I am so thankful my efforts were blessed!”

Zulema has joined 10 others as professional engineers at The JDI Group, and we continue to be proud to have her as part of our team!
