The Andersons asked The JDI Group to investigate the options of either increasing the existing retention pond or adding an additional pond to their Maumee, OH complex.
JDI performed a preliminary site investigation and topographic survey in the area of the proposed pond improvements. Our team researched the existing and proposed evaporator systems The Andersons uses, as well as historic rainfall records. This data was used in conjunction with stormwater calculations to estimate a storage volume that would reduce the required upkeep and maintenance on the existing system. Concepts were reviewed and discussed with the Andersons before a design was selected. JDI provided The Andersons with detailed construction plans, construction cost estimates, a storm water pollution prevention plan, an operations, and maintenance manual, as well as assisted with permitting.
