Math Computer Lab Renovation: The JDI Group provided assessment and construction document design services for the Terra State Community College Math Lab renovation. Our team conducted an assessment of the existing math lab, assisted the owner with the Program Requirements, and provided 100% construction design documents for the recommended math lab improvements. Interior renovations, finish updates, and new furniture layout and specifications were made to the 1,433 SF math computer lab (classroom A204).
Atrium Furniture Conceptual Design: The JDI Group developed furniture budget pricing for various commons areas across multiple buildings on the Terra State Community College campus. JDI also created conceptual designs for furniture layouts, detailed furniture specifications, selected finishes, and provided budget pricing for the designated areas.
Cooling Tower Replacement: Wadsworth Solutions contracted JDI to conduct a structural analysis of the existing steel support of the cooling tower on the roof of Building E as it related to the replacement of the cooling unit. The design approach was to design a new platform matching the dimensions of the new chiller to be supported by the existing cooling tower platform.
Activity Center: The JDI Group provided design services for multiple projects at the Activity Center. We proposed solutions for the four priority items identified at the design meeting. These items included creating storage areas in the main Activity Center space, constructing a covered walkway to the main entrance, locating a fitness center, and providing recommendations for the gym floor. Finally, an itemized construction cost estimate was compiled based on the schematic drawings.
