Dapco Industries is a U.S. based manufacturer of component parts for the outdoor power equipment, recreation vehicles and refrigeration/air conditioning industries. The JDI IT team designed and implemented a hyper-converged infrastructure powered by Scale Computing to replace the aging server hardware to power Dapco’s Microsoft Server and Infor Visual ERP software located at their Dexter, MI facility.
With little to no permissible downtime, the team was able to seamlessly migrate the virtual servers running in a failing vSphere environment over to the new Scale HCI cluster. The upgrade resulted in a more robust and reliable physical server infrastructure to support the critical operations of Dapco’s manufacturing processes.
