Attention seasoned mechanical engineers! The JDI Group is on the lookout for a highly skilled Senior Facility Mechanical Engineer to lead our team to new heights. Are you ready to take the reins and drive forward-thinking designs in commercial, heavy industrial, governmental, and institutional projects?
As the backbone of our facility’s mechanical department, you’ll oversee the design efforts of our talented engineers and designers, ensuring excellence at every turn. With a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a similar engineering curriculum, focusing on HVAC, and Professional Registration under your belt, you’re primed to make a significant impact.
With 12-15 years of HVAC and plumbing design experience, you’ll be the driving force behind the specification and development of critical systems, including commercial and industrial HVAC, compressed air, domestic water, hydronic systems, natural gas distribution, and more. Your expertise in fire protection will be a valuable asset to our team.
As a team leader, you’ll spearhead design reviews, proposals, engineering and construction estimate development, and project schedules. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks is a must-have as you guide projects from conception to completion.
Your role doesn’t end at the drafting table. You’ll roll up your sleeves for construction administration, ensuring project success through meticulous review of submittals, shop drawings, field verification, and punch list activities.
With a finger on the pulse of industry best practices and evolving codes and standards, you’ll bring innovative design input to the table while maintaining an unwavering commitment to quality and compliance.
