Kevin’s determination is evident in his recent accomplishment: passing the PMP exam to become a certified Project Management Professional.
The PMP certification is globally recognized as the premier credential for project managers, acknowledging candidates skilled at managing the people, processes, and business priorities of professional projects. PMI, the world’s leading authority on project management, created the PMP certification to recognize project managers who have proven they have project leadership experience and expertise in any way of working.
The eligibility criteria Kevin fulfilled were demanding, requiring him to meet certain requirements and then pass a 180-question exam. Project leaders created the PMP exam for project leaders, so each test question can be related to real-life project management experiences.
This is a significant achievement, especially considering that only 50 to 60% of candidates pass the exam on their first try.
Here’s what Kevin had to say about the process:
“Earning the PMP was both challenging and rewarding. I really learned a lot throughout the process.”
