As our Electrical Designer/Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving our growth across diverse markets including commercial, chemical, steel, plastics, and standby power generation.
Collaborating with our powerhouse electrical department team, you’ll utilize your talents to deliver innovative solutions for electrical power, lighting, data, fire, and security systems. Your expertise will be crucial in the development and production of top-tier electrical construction packages, ensuring compliance with NEC, ASHRAE, and other relevant codes and standards in both commercial and industrial settings. From performing electrical load summaries to designing power connections and developing fire alarm layouts, you’ll lead projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical load summaries and develop one-line and panel schedules
- Design power connections and lighting control systems
- Develop grounding plans and fire alarm layouts
- Layout data and security equipment (experience a plus)
Specific Job Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Visual Lighting Software
- Strong leadership skills and a positive team-oriented attitude
- Ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Basic Qualifications: 3-5 years of prior electrical design experience
