As an Electrical Designer/Engineer at The JDI Group, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving our growth across diverse markets including commercial, chemical, steel, plastics, and standby power generation. Collaborating with our powerhouse electrical department team, you’ll utilize your talents to deliver innovative solutions for electrical power distribution, lighting, data, fire, and security systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical load summaries and develop one-line and panel schedules
- Design power connections and lighting control systems
- Develop grounding plans and fire alarm layouts
- Layout data and security equipment (experience is a plus)
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Visual Lighting Software
- Strong leadership skills and a positive team-oriented attitude
- Ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Salary Range: $73,000 – $99,000/year depending on education, experience, and any certifications directly related to the position
