As a surveyor with us, you’ll dive into a dynamic role where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and project requirements
- Assist with preparing comprehensive proposals and managing budgets to ensure project success
- Work with field crews, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in survey operations
- Conduct thorough deed and survey research and review to inform project decisions
- Perform field work associated with land surveying, engineering, and construction projects, including setup, data collection, and quality control
- Utilize CAD software to prepare precise drawings and documents
- Conduct survey computations with accuracy and attention to detail
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- Proficiency in CAD design with experience in Civil 3D preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and accuracy
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying preferred
- Registered Professional Surveyor in the State of Ohio or on survey licensure track
- Salary Range: $70,000 – $100,000/year depending on education, experience, and any certifications directly related to the position
