As a Civil Engineer with The JDI Group, you’ll play a crucial role in site planning, designing roadways, water lines, storm drainage, and sanitary sewers. With a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and at least 5 years of experience under your belt, you’re primed to take on this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead site planning efforts, ensuring optimal design and functionality
• Direct or participate in survey services to gather essential data
• Estimate quantities and costs to determine project feasibility
• Prepare construction documents for bidding and site plan approvals

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

• To excel in this role, you’ll need proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Experience in traffic engineering is a definite plus
• Strong communication skills with clients and team members
• Ability to self-manage assignments for multiple projects
• Chemical, refining, manufacturing, or food experience a plus
• EIT required; PE preferred
• Salary Range: $80,000 – $135,000/year depending on education, experience, and any certifications directly related to the position
