JDI provided full process engineering design and layout services for a tank blending process expansion. JDI’s process design included an indoor tank farm, truck loading and unloading lines, and filling operations. Process deliverables included PFDs and P&ID updates, 3D scanning of the project site, 3D model creation, and piping plans, sections, and isometrics. JDI also provided tank general arrangement drawings for detailing by an original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
JDI also provided structural steel design for the mezzanine structure used for blend tank support and worker access. Scope of services included stair design, pipe support framing, and shop drawing review.
The design package also included electrical engineering services, including power system design for all new equipment and convenience outlets, with one-line diagrams provided.
