RO Process Building

This project was completed for one of the largest fertilizer producers in the world. The purpose of the Reverse Osmosis (RO) System and Building is to reduce fresh water usage at the company’s nitrogen-producing facility in Lima, Ohio. jdi’s client strives to protect the land, water and air near their facilities, with an ongoing company-wide goal of achieving no damage to the environment.

The 4,056 SF facility houses four RO skids, five pumps, three filters, and associated piping. In addition, three process tanks, including a decarbonator to limit the concentration of gases in the water, and to process backwash and well water, are located within the building.

The jdi group provided full services on the project, including structural, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, process mechanical engineering, architectural, and civil services. The 3.5 million project was completed, from start to finish, within six months.
